India's agricultural landscape is undergoing a substantial shift as technology takes centre stage in the heart of rural communities. With a staggering 425 million users in rural India, mobile applications, or apps, are becoming a driving force behind the modernization of agriculture. In 2023, this digital revolution is continuing to transform the way farmers make decisions, manage resources, buy farm inputs, and access critical information. This

article delves into the world of Android applications, which dominate the market with a colossal 95% market share, to explore how they are reshaping Indian agriculture.

The selection criteria for this exploration focused on apps each with over 250,000 installs. A total of 33 apps made the cut, and they were ranked based on the number of downloads, providing a snapshot of the evolving agricultural technology landscape.
